Blake Oaks is one of my favorite local bass players. He’s just clearly put in the work. That’s why I was so excited to finally get to record his band. It turns out vocalist Charlie Sixer put on one hell of an impassioned performance. We were invited to record a live set by The Intangibles at The Vortex in Akron, Ohio.
