Miss Dreadful is a singer/songwriter from Cuyahoga Falls in Ohio. In this video she’s returning to the goodsoundwaves SESSIONS video series as we embrace our new on-location format.

Alone in her living room, with the recording gear tucked quietly around the corner in her dining room, Miss Dreadful gave an impassioned performance that I wasn’t expecting.

She played her recently acquired Gretsch resonator guitar, which may have inspired that new sound applied to her familiar songs.

Vocals were recorded thru a Shure SM7b dynamic mic. For the guitar we used a Shure SM57 dynamic mic and a Tascam TM-80 condenser.
