The Northaven performs with an intensity that clearly conveys the urgency of their messages. With deeply personal songs delivered with passion and energy, they were a joy to experience.
They were joined in their performance by their touring partners, Subtle Places, who had just delivered their own solid set minutes before.
My DSLR camera of nearly 20 years failed near the end of The Northaven’s performance. I removed the lens when I noticed the camera shutter not fully opening only to have the viewfinder mirror flip out into the air and onto my lap. When I look back at all the talented musicians that have been captured through that Sony a700 camera, I’m just happy The Northaven got to be on that list. They were great!
