Roo’s First Opening Gig

I met Roo Bug when she opened for Tundra Tuxedo at Blue Macaroon Theater in Doylestown, Ohio. Contrasting with Tundra’s explosive classic rock sound, Roo Bug’s music was a gentle introduction to the night.

Her lyrics were deep and relatable and well presented. Her music and vocals entice you to get lost in the groove while she handles uncomfortable topics like grooming in “Anonymous”. It takes a lot of nerve to stand up and bare so much of yourself to a room of anyone, let alone strangers. I’m looking forward to more from this artist.
