I met AJ when he added tenor sax to some tracks for J.J. Vicars. It was the first time I was attempting to record saxophone. His insight was invaluable; it made for a smoother experience and I’ve used what I learned every time I’ve record horns since.
He is a Doctor of Musicology and a full-time lecturer at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
