The first time I experienced Wreck Like Me perform, she was performing as a solo singer/songwriter opening for Kashus Culpepper and Jon Muq at Blue Macaroon Theater. That night I recorded audio but it was before I had the new camera setup. When I was asked to run the show for her next appearance, I was excited to discover not only would I get to record video of her but she was bringing a full band!
Wreck Like Me writes and performs some of the most beautiful sad songs you’ve ever heard a happy person sing.
